DES PLAINES, ILLINOIS, USA – Mar. 16, 2004: Expanding the rapid adoption of advanced library software systems in new markets, Endeavor Information Systems announced today the opening of regional offices in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Singapore. The Endeavor expansion provides service to libraries in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
The regional offices encourage local awareness of Endeavor's LinkFinderPlus OpenURL-enabled link resolver and the ENCompass system for managing, searching and linking collections, including the recently announced ENCompass for Journals OnSite (EJOS) system for storage, searching and browsing of local journal content.
Endeavor will continue to provide services through regional offices in Melbourne to serve Australia and New Zealand libraries and London to serve the United Kingdom and European libraries, in addition to headquarters in Des Plaines (Chicago), Illinois, serving North American academic and research libraries.
Additionally, Endeavor today named expanded sales staff in these locations to meet the demand for the company's cutting-edge digital library software systems.
