Woburn, MA – Inmagic, Inc., a global provider of content and information management software and services, announces that David M. Darsch, a strategic business advisor who has 24 years of entrepreneurial and technology management experience, has been elected chairman of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Darsch, who has served on the Inmagic board since 1999, has founded two companies, sits on the board of directors of four others, and has been involved in the purchase, sale, merger or the raising of capital for more than 10 companies. He replaces Karen Brothers, an Inmagic co-founder, who has served as chairman since 1998. She will remain on the board. Other members of the board include Jonathan Eddison, son of the Inmagic co-founder Elizabeth Bole Eddison and currently with Strategic Law Partners, LLP; Mary Makela, president of MEM Associates and a former president of Cognos Corporation; and Inmagic's President and CEO, Phillip L. Green.

Mr.Darsch is founder and principal of Dynamic Management Decisions, Inc. (DMDI), a firm providing business advisor services with active clients in the US and Europe. Mr. Darsch founded and managed Data Management Design, Inc., a privately held software company in the Washington, DC area from 1979 until the company was acquired in 1996 by a systems integrator. During this time, the company was recognized on the “Inc.” 500 list of fastest growing companies in America. His company was acknowledged as one of the few firms in the high technology market to enjoy longevity and explosive growth without an infusion of external capital.
Mr. Darsch is Chairman of the Board of Aegis Analytical, and serves on the Board of Advisors of Visual Tools S.A, the Official Medical Association of Barcelona as well as an advisor to DOC6, an authorized Inmagic re-seller in Spain.
