Woburn, MA and Markham, Ontario -- Inmagic, Inc., a global provider of content and information management software and services with more than 7,000 customers in over 50 countries, announces the signing of open standards systems integrator partner, Digital Vantage Point, of Markham, Ontario. Digital Vantage Point, which will work with Inmagic Content Server customers in the United States and Canada, will provide consulting, integration, development, and delivery services for businesses that need to make their content widely available across the enterprise via a Web services solution.
Inmagic introduced Inmagic Content Server in Q1 of 2003 as part of a new business model in direct response to Inmagic's largest customers' request for a product based on an open standards database providing enterprise performance and scalability.
“With the introduction of Inmagic Content Server the need to help new and existing customers integrate across the enterprise has grown exponentially,” said Phillip Green, president and CEO of Inmagic. “These new opportunities are driving the need for additional partnerships like the one with Digital Vantage Point.”
Inmagic Content Server extends the use of Inmagic products across the enterprise, turning unstructured information into content intelligence that drives important business decisions. Inmagic Content Server, which is built on Microsoft SQL Server, combines the advantages of a robust and flexible database management environment with high speed search and categorization that makes finding relevant information fast, easy, and precise. Business users can easily create or integrate content from internal and external sources; deploy that content to Web pages on intranets, extranets, and the Internet, and organize and manage information flows that drive business intelligence.
“We are excited to have Digital Vantage Point as our new system integrator for the Inmagic Content Server product line,” said Mr. Green. “As companies are embracing our technology for use across the enterprise to address their content management challenges, Web services integration of corporate applications and corporate portals continues to be a critical element of providing valuable content intelligence. Digital Vantage Point's technical expertise in delivering Web services and their methodologies for managing complex projects are complementary to our own. They will be vital in providing solutions for our customers and supporting our growing business requirements of expanded professional services delivery capabilities.”
