Emeryville, CA—Innovative Interfaces, the leading supplier of Web-based library automation systems, announced the appointment of Monica Ertel as Director of Customer Services. Ertel will have management responsibility of Innovative's 24/7/365 Help Desk and Web-based service center, CSDirect.
Ertel brings 25 years of library management experience, most recently with Korn/Ferry International where she was the Director of Global Knowledge Management. Prior to that, she was with Apple Computer where she was the Director of Knowledge Systems, which included the Apple Library as well as research programs in the field of information management. Like the majority of Innovative's staff, she holds a Master of Library Science degree in addition to an MBA.
