"Having considered and turned down a number of attractive offers during the last few years, I am very pleased to accept a leadership role with Ex Libris (USA) as Chairman of it`s Board of Directors," Walton said. "I first encountered Ex Libris over a decade ago as the company was installing Ex Libris technology into the most prestigious universities and national libraries in Europe and Africa. The technology has continued to expand develop and, in my opinion, now out-paces the rest of the industry. I am excited about the opportunity to work with Ex Libris (USA) as the company builds and expands its services and customer base to be the leading supplier and partner to libraries and information centers in the United States."
"Bob has a depth of knowledge and understanding about both the operations of a successful software company, and the technology marketplace in the United States," said Azriel Morag, Chairman of Ex Libris Ltd.
