Abstract: Innovative Interfaces announced the appointment of Sandra Hurd as Director of Sales, Digital Solutions.


Emeryville, CA—Innovative Interfaces, the leading supplier of Web-based library automation systems, announced the appointment of Sandra Hurd as Director of Sales, Digital Solutions.

Hurd has extensive experience in the information technology industry and is known to many through her work with organizations such as LITA, NASIG, NISO and SISAC. Before coming to Innovative, Hurd was a senior manager at Northern Light Technology. Prior to that she was Assistant Vice President and Director of Library Automation at EBSCO Subscription Services. She holds a BA and an MLS from Simmons College in Boston.

In her new role, Hurd will lead Innovative's sales efforts in the area of digital collections solutions, particularly the company's portal and electronic resource management systems. She will also assist with the company's strategic planning for the academic marketplace.
