Other InformationProvision of a Library Management System (LMS) and Discovery and Search Replacements, and Data Optimisation. The University will acquire a new generation LMS and Discovery and Search layer, offering the capacity to manage the full range of print and electronic content for which its libraries are responsible. The system will enable libraries to provide excellent support for teaching, learning, and research by improving the experience of students, researchers, and library users in identifying, finding, and retrieving library collections, regardless of format. The new system(s) will support improved integration with the learning management, repository, archive, and administrative systems, to provide users with a coherent view of the services and collections that are available to them. The main objective is to implement a replacement LMS plus Discovery and Search with a target date for going live of summer 2016.
