Other Information | The City of Fort Worth (“The City”) is requesting proposals for a Next-Generation Integrated Library System and Related Systems and Services for the Fort Worth Public Library (FWPL). Interested vendors are encouraged to review the attached document and submit proposals to provide that solution. The City has outlined requirements and specifications for wanted systems and services; however we realize that companies approach these issues in different ways, and this RFP requests proposals for alternative solutions such as On-Premise, Server-Based Systems and Software and as a Service (SaaS). Therefore, we plan to use this Request for Proposals (RFP) process as a starting point. This is not a low-bid process, but cost will be a consideration. Ultimately, the contract will be awarded to the vendor or vendors who offer the best overall solutions and value based on our analysis of the proposals and negotiations with the vendor(s). Our goal is to begin production operations with the Next-Generation Integrated Library System during calendar year 2014. |
