| Other Information | It is the intent of Trident Technical College to solicit proposals for a vendor-hosted replacement Integrated Library System (ILS), complete with Discovery Layer and electronic resource management (ERM) components. The College seeks a vendor-hosted next-generation Integrated Library System (ILS) solution that includes a Discovery Layer, and an Electronic Resource Management System (ERM). The College seeks a system that enables the smooth and efficient management of both print and electronic resources as well as new approaches to Library workflows to better manage, process, and track its print holdings and will generate analytics.
Offeror will assist in preparation of the Library’s existing database for migration, will migrate existing ILS records, customize the new system, and provide staff training in its use. Additionally, the offeror will provide ongoing support for the software in a timely fashion and will provide system upgrades upon their release. The Discovery Layer will create database connections based on the Library’s holdings. It will ingest records from the Library’s ILS and its remote and local databases (CONTENTdm and LibGuides), and provide a customizable search interface for all of the available content.
