November 22, 2000. Innovative Interfaces, a leading supplier of Web-based library automation systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shirley Adams to the role of Sales Consultant for UK Public Libraries.
Innovative's European General Manager, Mark Carden, said, "This is a new position within Innovative which will allow the company to focus on the particular library automation needs and requirements of public libraries in the UK today. Innovative has over 200 public library customers world-wide, including some of the largest libraries in Europe, and we look forward to bringing the benefits of our excellent Millennium system to the attention of UK public libraries.

Before joining Innovative, Shirley worked for Geac Computers Ltd., initially as a Sales Consultant and more recently as International Product Manager. Prior to her years at Geac, Shirley managed the sales department at SLS (Information Systems) Ltd., which has since become part of Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Shirley holds a B.A. in Librarianship from Brighton Polytechnic, and has experience of working in both public and academic libraries.
