Blacksburg, Virginia, U.S.A.- VTLS Inc. recently moved to its new headquarters located at 1701 Kraft Drive, Blacksburg, VA 24060. The new VTLS headquarters offer spectacular views of the scenic mountain range surrounding Blacksburg as well as many new amenities for the VTLS employees and VTLS customers. The two-story, 32,500 square foot brick building doubles the previous VTLS office space and is equipped with state-of-the-art security, network and phone systems. The building's open architecture features four quadrants separately secured from the public areas with each quadrant housing employee and management offices, meeting rooms, and other amenities as described below.

By far one of the most important and employee-desired features of the new headquarters are the nine sunlit meeting and training rooms that accommodate up to 275 people. Popular also with VTLS employees are the rooftop terrace, employee patio, showers, lockers, lunch rooms, private break room for new mothers, and coffee bars. In addition VTLS now has two libraries. The library in the lobby will circulate literature and reference materials from each of the 35 countries where VTLS products are used. The research and development library will house all internal subscriptions, reference materials such as NISO and ISO standards documents, and VTLS product and third-party vendor documentation. Of course, Virtua will be used to automate these libraries.

The grand opening for the new VTLS headquarters will be April 7, 1998 at 11:35 a.m. The ceremony and festivities are being held in conjunction with the VTLS Inc. International Users' Group meeting to be held April 8-9, 1998.

"The grand opening was delayed because I wanted the VTLS customers to be a part of this exciting time for me and the VTLS employees," stated Vinod Chachra, president of VTLS Inc. Customers from ten countries are already pre-registered for this meeting.
