LONDON (June 1999) - The library at Swindon College has chosen Sirsi Corporation's Unicorn Library Management System to replace their Dolphin library system.
Unicorn will be installed under the Windows NT operating system on an Intel Pentium and will provide access through WorkFlows to Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) services, cataloging and circulation. Public access to the OPAC will be available via SIRSI's WebCat.
David Stelling, Site Librarian, commented, "Unicorn emerged as our choice after a number of visits to SIRSI libraries, all of which gave favorable accounts of the Unicorn system and the support provided."
