The Library Corporation -- June 3, 2026. The Library Corporation (TLC) is pleased to announce the successful implementation of Library.Solution for the corporate library of a major American utility company.

This implementation represents the revival of the utility company's former library, which had largely been suspended since 2009. As part of the initiative, the organization is modernizing and refreshing its collection to better align with current operational research needs, while also improving access to technical reports, research materials, and representative material samples.

"We were looking for a full-service ILS that could provide both strong system security and robust functionality," said the company's library liaison. "While we explored several candidates, TLC's products proved to be the best fit for our application."

The implementation included a seamless start-to-finish migration, including training and system configuration support from TLC's team."The experience of migration, implementation, and training were very good," the library liaison shared. "We got excellent service, and TLC was right there throughout the process to support it."

Currently managed by a staff of one, the corporate library is already benefiting from the efficiencies provided by Library.Solution's intuitive cataloging and discovery tools. The customer highlighted LS2 Cataloging's integration with ITS.MARC — TLC's award-winning online copy cataloging resource — as a major advantage.

"The ability to copy catalog directly from ITS.MARC has been a terrific time-saving feature," the library liaison noted. "For our original cataloging, the system has been easy to use, with the title space function making it much simpler to hold catalog entries for review and refinement before publication."

The organization also reported positive feedback from corporate staff accessing library resources via LS2 PAC, Library.Solution's built-in public access catalog (PAC), noting that staff members have found "the PAC intuitive and have picked it up on their own with no reported difficulties."

The library currently maintains approximately 1,700 titles and 2,000 items, with significant additional materials still planned for cataloging as the revitalized collection continues to expand.
