Glasgow, UK -- October 6, 2025. Westchester Library System (NY) has signed an agreement with SOLUS UK Ltd. to transition its 38 member libraries from the open source LiDA app, over to the company's Library App. WLS has been on the Evergreen ILS platform since 2018, and Aspen platform since September 2024.

WLS selected the Library App primarily due to the Library Apps stability, scalability, security, and advanced patron features. Wilson Arana, Director of IT for WLS stated "Mobile app usage within WLS continues to grow and it's a gateway to our member libraries resources and services and we want to insure they have a positive experience from the get-go. Plus, the Library App has demonstrated success in supporting many libraries of similar or larger size to WLS."

John Richardson, Director of SOLUS North America states "we are delighted to add the Westchester Library System to our growing list of Aspen integration customers." The new app is anticipated to be launched prior to year end.
