Four systems across the United States launch MessageBee, expanding patron communication tools and upgrading deliverability across email, SMS, and phone notices.

Alameda Free Library (CA)

The San Francisco area library has launched MessageBee across all three channels, marking a major step forward in how it communicates with patrons. A long-time Unique partner, Alameda Free Library has utilized Unique Management Services since 2004. Library staff are especially excited to regain the ability to send text message reminders, in addition to the newly enhanced email and voice services.

Calcasieu Parish Public Library (LA)

Calcasieu Parish Public Library in southwest Louisiana has added MessageBee SMS and voice notifications to its Unique service portfolio. The new MessageBee channels add to the library's existing Unique Chat service. This expansion is designed to enhance outreach and make communication more accessible and efficient for patrons across the parish.

SELCO – Southeastern Libraries Cooperating (MN)

One of Minnesota's 12 Regional Library Systems, SELCO supports 35 public libraries across southeastern Minnesota. The system has officially launched MessageBee SMS, ensuring uninterrupted and reliable delivery of text notifications to its vast patron base.

Scott County Library System (IA)

The Scott County Library System has implemented MessageBee SMS, its first service with Unique. We're thrilled to welcome Iowa's oldest county library system to Team Unique and look forward to supporting their communication goals moving forward.

Each of these libraries represents a commitment to delivering thoughtful, timely, and effective patron communication. Unique is proud to be their partner in that mission, and we look forward to helping even more libraries modernize their messaging with MessageBee.

About MessageBee

MessageBee has three different ways to communicate with your patron base. SMS alerts get in front of more of your patrons with simple and understandable messaging. Emails take boring and confusing ILS-

generated email notifications and turns it into a patron engagement tool with a simple drag-and-drop design. Phone notifications cater to your patrons that prefer the personal touch of recorded or voice-to-text phone messages.

About Unique Management Services

Summary: Four systems across the United States launch MessageBee, expanding patron communication tools and upgrading deliverability across email, SMS, and phone notices, including Alameda Free Library, Calcasieu Parish Public Library, SELCO – Southeastern Libraries Cooperating, and Scott County Library System.
