Lake Elmo, MN -- June 24, 2025. Bibliotheca will return to the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference, taking place June 26–30 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The company will exhibit at Booth #1705, located between the entrances to Halls C and D.

This year, Bibliotheca will present its most comprehensive lineup of self-service, automation, and access technologies to date. Among the highlights is the debut of the selfCheck 2500, a new compact kiosk that offers a full suite of self-service features. It's the latest evolution in a product line that began in 1992 and has since seen more than 20 iterations.

Bibliotheca has been a constant presence at the ALA Annual Conference since its earliest days. The event has long been a platform for launching innovations in RFID, cloud-based services, and self-service technology designed around library users.

Inclusive Library Innovation

A panel discussion titled "Modern Self-Service Technology for True Access" will take place on Saturday, June 28, from 2:30 to 3:20 p.m., at the Tech Talk Stage (Booth 248).

Library leaders from Scott County Library and Hennepin County Library in Minnesota, both longtime users of Bibliotheca technology, will discuss how modern self-service tools are being used to expand access and improve equity.

The session will focus on practical implementations of multilingual interfaces, ADA-compliant design, and extended-access systems aimed at removing barriers to library use. A Q&A will follow the panel, allowing attendees to engage directly with the speakers and gain insight into scalable strategies for their own libraries.
