Cornell University, one of the most prestigious institutions in the world, has partnered with 4Science for the installation of a tailored DSpace-CRIS system hosted on AWS. Ranked among the top 20 universities globally for 2024/2025, Cornell becomes the eighth institution on this prestigious list to choose 4Science as its preferred partner for repository installation.

Why DSpace-CRIS?

Cornell University, having very specific requirements, opted for a DSpace-CRIS installation rather than a basic DSpace because of the additional features and performance that come with DSpace-CRIS.

Meeting Evolving Needs

As a strong supporter of Open Science, Cornell values the DSpace platform and the global community behind it. To best align with its evolving needs, Cornell chose DSpace-CRIS with its extended data model, enhanced flexibility, and interoperability.

The Future Ahead

We are honored to have the opportunity to support this prestigious institution in the implementation of a more interoperable, connected, and high-performing DSpace instance.

Stay tuned for updates on this project!
