We are happy to announce the May 2025 Librarian of the Month is Tammy DelConte of Monterey County Free Libraries in California! Tammy was nominated by Kris Amaral of Monterey County Free Libraries, who commented:
Tammy is one of the kindest people in the world! She equally goes above and beyond to help fellow staff members as well as patrons whenever she can. As part of the Circulation Team, she is an active member testing Aspen, KOHA, and Aspen LIDA, bringing to our attention glitches in technology that pop up and then trying to find a solution to boot. She oversees 3 branches and the northern region bookmobile and is our go to person for Envisionware and LibCal reports. Tammy is a true leader at Monterey County Free Libraries and is always a pleasure to work with on a project!"
