January 17, 2025 . The Library Corporation (TLC) is delighted to announce a new hoopla Digital integration for TLC.Go!, its mobile app for libraries. This integration is available following a recent partnership between hoopla Digital and SOLUS, to bring the expansive hoopla content collection to TLC libraries using the SOLUS-based mobile app. Libraries with the app can extend access to hoopla's millions of titles to their patrons — directly from the app, including audiobooks, eBooks, comics and manga, music, movies, television, and more with BingePass.
TLC.Go! has seamless compatibility with all of TLC's integrated library management systems — Library.Solution, Library.Solution for Schools, and CARL.Solution — and is available via Android and iOS. Cardholders of participating libraries can discover their next favorite hoopla Digital title directly from the app.
"Demand for digital content among public library patrons continues to rise, making management of those catalogs a top priority for libraries," said Jeff Jankowski, Founder and President of hoopla. "By partnering with SOLUS, hoopla partner libraries are able to connect their patrons to the titles they are looking for while they are on the go via their mobile devices improving discoverability and patron experience."
"We commend this recent partnership in the industry and the expanded service offerings it brings to our valued customers," said Annette Murphy, CEO and co-founder of The Library Corporation. "When organizations collaborate to create mutual benefits for libraries and the communities they serve, it results in a positive outcome for everyone."
