Solna, Sweden, and Oslo, Norway -- November 12, 2024. The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) has selected TIND Integrated Library System (TIND ILS) to modernize its library services and optimize the management of its collections. Migrating from AdLib, ECDC joins a growing community of special libraries relying on TIND ILS, such as the United Nations, the Folgers Shakespeare Library, the Munch Museum, and the World Food Programme.file (19)Photo: ECDC
The ECDC library houses approximately 5,000 items to support the organization's mission to strengthen Europe's defense against infectious diseases. By partnering with TIND, ECDC gains a modern, standards-compliant ILS with powerful tools for cataloging, search and batch processing.
The platform's modern and easy-to-use interface enables the ECDC library to operate efficiently, saving valuable staff time while making it easier for patrons to find, request, and use library resources.
"By providing a right-sized, modern, and flexible solution, TIND ILS enables institutions like ECDC to efficiently manage their collections and workflows, allowing them to focus more on their mission-driven work and less on the complexities of system management," said Alexander Neitzold, CEO of TIND.
