Lived Places Publishing announces the launch of Intersections: Identity and Place

Lived Places Publishing

New York, NY -- November 7, 2024. Lived Places Publishing (LPP) has just launched Intersections: Identity & Place, a Collection of ebooks designed as course readings. The 105 titles in the Collection include the frontlist of 40 new titles set to publish in 2025.

Faculty are increasingly asking campus libraries to provide materials from a broader, more diverse range of authors and subject areas. LPP exists to support librarians and faculty in this goal.

LPP publishes across 20 different topic areas, including Disability Studies, Black Studies, Queer & LBGT+ Studies, Forced Migration Studies, Cultural Anthropology, Endangered Language Studies, Entrepreneurship, and Gender Studies.

Each topic area is led by a Collection Editor and each original work is commissioned for LPP, helping to amplify marginalized voices and bring real human experiences into the classroom.

Intersections is a one-time investment without ongoing fees. Institutions enjoy perpetual access to DRM-free books with no limits on user access. 5% of Collection revenues are sequestered to underwrite Open Access titles, the first 3 of which are now fully funded and published.

Presale pricing is available through the end of 2024. For further details, please contact Stephen@LivedPlacesPublishing.com
