Villanova, PA -- November 4, 2024. Version 10.1 of the VuFind Open Source discovery software has just been released. This minor release includes several new features, along with as expanded translations, accessibility improvements, assorted bug fixes, and several new configuration options.
Some key additions and changes:
- Full integration with OCLC's WorldCat Search v2 API has been added, allowing users to continue including WorldCat content inside VuFind after the v1 API is shut down at the end of 2024.
- - Optional improvements to the faceting UI to allow multiple facet selections without reloading the page.
- A variety of new plugins, including a content block, a related record module, two permission providers and a channel provider.
- ILS data caching to improve performance, plus driver improvements for both FOLIO and Koha.
