ByWater Solutions is the leader in library automation systems customer support. Our Education team provides industry-leading instruction and support tailored to the needs of each library.

The Educator works with the Education team to develop, evaluate, and improve internal and external training programs and documentation. You will support the Implementation process by working with organizational staff to identify product changes and educational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to the Implementation process by providing instruction and/or implementation support to new partners
• Provide ad-hoc training either on-site or online to partner libraries
• Perform ongoing evaluation of training processes based on feedback and facilitate process improvements by creating workflows, tools, and documentation
• Maintain, update, and create a bank of resources for use during the implementation process and training
• Up to 35% travel as needed, typically in a five day stretch
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of experience providing instruction to adult learners (library preferred)
• Current knowledge of pedagogical principles and practices
• Demonstrated knowledge of library operations
• Experience with the Koha library management system and/or Aspen Discovery
• Ability to handle assigned tasks independently and collaboratively across departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Library Science (MLS or MLIS
• Demonstrated ability to assist libraries with change management
• Located near a large airport
• Familiar with project management and ticketing software

Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
