Grove announces the development of a highly-requested feature that allows libraries to customize the order of formats in search results for the 24.09 Aspen release. This was one of the top priorities of the Aspen Library Community and allows libraries to further adapt Aspen to meet the needs of their patrons.
"This request was something that we heard frequently from libraries that really wanted to move their large print copies to directly follow their regular physical book copies or put Blu-ray movies after traditional DVDs. I'm so glad we can provide that option and I can't wait to see how else libraries choose to use this new feature!"
-Jordan Fields, Grove Co-Founder
In addition to allowing for customized format sorting, Grove also contributed multiple other developments including support for self-check functionality within LiDA Scan and Go using the Sierra APIs (sponsored by the Minuteman Library Network), updates to the Palace Project integration, and updates to how field locking works within Aspen.
