Unique Library is proud to announce the launch of MessageBee for SAILS Library Network in Massachusetts. The library consortium is a new client of Unique that serves 39 communities and 70 branches in southeastern Massachusetts. Supported notifications that SAILS will be using include holds, overdue and bill, and card expiring notifications.
MessageBee is a powerful and customizable messaging tool that offers numerous features, making it an essential asset for libraries looking to enhance their communication strategies. Easily understandable clear voicemails made MessageBee a great choice for the New England library, replacing ILS automated messages sent by Symphony, the library's ILS.
Key features of MessageBee include:
- SaaS Phone service: Our Phone notifications require no library-based equipment. We handle the back end, so libraries can focus on their patrons.
- Multi-Language ability: clients can send messages in English or Spanish, with preference automatically pulled from the patron database, ensuring seamless integration.
- Customizable notifications: Either voice recordings or automatically generated messages offer clear voicemail messages.
About MessageBee
MessageBee has three different ways to communicate with your patron base. SMS alerts get in front of more of your patrons with simple and understandable messaging. Email takes boring and confusing ILS-generated email notifications and turns it into a patron engagement tool with a simple drag-and-drop design. Phone notifications cater to your patrons that prefer the personal touch of a recorded or voice-to-text phone messages.
