Ex Libris, part of Clarivate, is pleased to announce that over 2500 institutions have now selected the Alma unified resource management platform. This milestone is the result of more than 180 additional libraries of various sizes and types choosing Alma in 2023 and over 500 since 2021.

The wide and continued adoption of Alma as the library solution of choice reflects its proven ability to unify management of library electronic, print, and digital collections. Beyond its core services and valuable functionality, the strength of the Alma community and relationship with Ex Libris is a key contributor to this rapid growth. Customers can leverage open communication channels to influence the development process, share knowledge to strengthen the service, and educate each other through listservs, the Idea Exchange, the Developer's Network, user group events, and more.

Beyond providing libraries an effective solution for their library resource management challenges today, Alma continues to evolve to meet library needs worldwide. More than 400 enhancements for Alma have been delivered since the beginning of 2023. It's published roadmap through 2024 offers opportunities for libraries to become more effective and efficient in the areas of open access and collaboration, while also leveraging linked open data and artificial intelligence.
