On 11 October, 4Science joins ORCID to share about DSpace and DSpace-CRIS integrations. We'll discuss the differences between the systems and how each works with the ORCID registry. Additionally, TU Hamburg University Library will present a live demonstration of their DSpace-CRIS integration and share their experiences.

During this insightful session, we'll showcase a live demonstration of our successful ORCID integration under TORE (https://tore.tuhh.de), powered by DSpace-CRIS 7.

This achievement was made possible thanks to the prestigious "ORCID Global Participation Fund" award.

Notably, DSpace-CRIS has received certification from ORCID Member Support Technical Specialists, setting a new benchmark for Research Information Systems.

Andrea Bollini: Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO), 4Science

Andrea is actively involved in various international open-source and open-standards communities with leading roles: DSpace committer, Deputy Leader of the CERIF TG of euroCRIS and member of the COAR Next Generation Repositories WG, chair, speaker and reviewer for several key conferences. Prior to 4Science Andrea worked for the Italian University Consortia Cilea and Cineca, where he was responsible for IT solutions and projects for research, e-publishing and OA repositories. He holds a MSc in Applied Mathematics and a Masters in ICT management.
