"Open source software offers libraries maximum choice and flexibility. From Koha, the first open source ILS to be used worldwide, to Evergreen, the first open source system designed for complex libraries and consortia, along with FOLIO and other systems, libraries have multiple open source options to select from," said Lisa Carlucci, Executive Director at Equinox. "This flexibility means that libraries can choose a system that will grow and evolve with them as needs change."

Equinox will also be presenting two poster sessions as part of the conference. The first, "Bringing Information Together: Best Practices for Implementing CORAL ERM," is a guide to implementing open source, e-resource solution CORAL ERM by Galen Charlton and Erica Rohlfs. The second, "Leading Accessibility in Open Source Library Software," focuses on Equinox's accessibility initiatives for VuFindⓇ and Evergreen ILS. It will be presented by Andrea Buntz Neiman, Stephanie Leary, Lisa Carlucci, and Angela Kilsdonk. Both posters will be presented on Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 1:30 – 3:30pm CT in McCormick Place, W190a.
