DynaMed, EBSCO Information Services' (EBSCO) clinical decision support tool, earns accreditation from Cebam, the Belgian Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine. Cebam is responsible for the validation of clinical practice guidelines and evidence-based practice (EBP) information used by Belgian health care professionals. With this achievement, DynaMed receives a label for high-standard quality for EBP information in Belgium and serves as a resource for healthcare professionals looking to earn Riziv accreditation points.
DynaMed is an evidence-based clinical decision support resource designed to reduce time to answer for clinicians and provide the most current information to health care professionals at the point of care. The tool is built on a rigorous, seven-step evidence-based methodology, robust systematic literature surveillance with daily updates and clinical expertise to support clinicians when they are making treatment decisions for their patients. During the Cebam accreditation procedure, DynaMed's methodological process was evaluated and tested, and select topics were screened to ensure they met Cebam's high quality standards.
Healthcare professionals can earn Riziv accreditation points when using the tool, and can access the DynaMed app anytime, anywhere via the Cebam Digital Library for Health. DynaMed is also available to Belgian general practitioners in the Cebam Evidence Linker.
