MOBIUS migrates Gibsonville Public Library to NC Cardinal Consortium

Columbia, MO -- February 6, 2023. MOBIUS announced that the Gibsonville Public Library successfully migrated and went live as a member of the NC Cardinal consortium, which utilizes the Evergreen Integrated Library System (ILS), on December 8, 2022.

MOBIUS performed data migration services to the Evergreen ILS as part of its MOSS (MOBIUS Open Source Solutions) service. MOBIUS also provides data hosting and support to the NC Cardinal consortium.

Before joining NC Cardinal, Gibsonville offered approximately 13,000 items in its collection. After successfully moving to NC Cardinal, Gibsonville patrons now have access to almost 8 million items through resource sharing. "Joining NC Cardinal has expanded local access to an incredible variety of materials from across the state," said Director Jessica Arnold. "We are excited to be the first library in our area to provide this fantastic resource."
