Dublin, OH -- October 21, 2022. Patron Point announced today that Shortgrass Library System, headquartered in Alberta, Canada, has chosen our patron engagement platform to support its mission to provide quality library support services to member municipalities and partners

Shortgrass Library System is one of seven Regional Library Systems in the Province of Alberta. Shortgrass Library System is a service-oriented, non-profit organization.

Shortgrass provides many services to public libraries in Southeast Alberta, including Integrated Library System, centralized ordering/cataloging/processing, IT infrastructure & support, consultation, programming kits, an interlibrary courier system, and much more.

Shortgrass acknowledges that they work on Treaty 7 and Treaty 4 territory, traditional lands of the Siksika (Blackfoot), Kainai (Blood), Piikani (Peigan), Stoney-Nakoda, and Tsuut'ina (Sarcee) as well as the Cree, Sioux, and the Saulteaux bands of the Ojibwa peoples. They also honor and acknowledge that they are on the homelands of the Métis Nation within Region III.
