Miami, FL -- October 4, 2022. Today Springshare announces the completion of a System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II audit. This thorough, independent assessment of internal security controls serves as validation of the company's dedication and adherence to the highest standards for security, confidentiality, and privacy.
SOC 2 is an extensive auditing procedure developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It ensures that a company is handling customer data securely and in a manner that protects the organization as well as the privacy of its customers.
Slaven Zivkovic, Founder and CEO of Springshare, commented on the milestone,
"Successfully completing the SOC2 audit, without exceptions, validates what our team has always known to be true: that Springshare's SaaS tools and company workflows adhere to the highest standards when it comes to handling customer data, respect to data privacy and confidentiality, and our commitment to security."
Springshare's information security practices, policies, procedures and operations meet the rigorous SOC2 Trust Service Criteria and will continue to do so moving forward. Beyond the initial audit, internal security controls will be continuously monitored and held to the highest standard.
Security, privacy, and confidentiality are the foundation upon which Springshare has been built. As such, there are plans to pursue additional industry-standard certifications and audits in the future.
Springshare customers who wish to access the company's SOC2 report for in-house security protocols or documentation may reach out to the Springshare support team for more information.
