Glasgow, UK – September 12, 2022 – SOLUS is pleased to announce that it has signed a reseller agreement with Nexbib.
Nexbib will be reselling the SOLUS Library App throughout it's customer network. This agreement has been born from the rapid uptake of SOLUS's in-App RFID Self-Check functionality, just enhanced to include support for multi-part tag release. SOLUS and Nexbib will furthermore be working on enhancing their product offering for the library market.
Neil Wishart, CEO of SOLUS states, "The growth of in-App self-check in the last six months has been highly significant. We're seeing customers now deploying this functionality to every library in their estate, whereby in the past with traditional kiosk solutions, hardware and support costs would have restricted kiosk deployment. Customers are now rolling this solution into their smallest libraries and replacing hardware that has been deemed end-of-life with our in-App solution in their larger sites. In the coming months we'll see State and even Country wide deployments announced!"
Sven Carlson, Managing Director of Nexbib states, "This is an exciting agreement for Nexbib on a number of levels. Firstly, we're now able to provide a market leading Library App and in-App self-check solution to our customers. We see in-App self-check as complementary to our existing self-check portfolio with many benefits for our customers and patrons. This agreement also gives Nexbib the opportunity to introduce other products from the SOLUS suite to our customers and take advantage of SOLUS's agile mobile development to further leverage Nexbib's products in the market."
Neil Wishart states"The launch of our next generation Library App is pending and this will include some exciting new functionality for our customers, partners and their patrons. Nexbib will leverage this and we'll see a quick ROI on the multi-lingual capability built into the App. We look forward to them building on the initial customers that they have already contracted.
