Glasgow, UK – August 26, 2022 – SOLUS is pleased to announce that it has pushed App no.'s 460 and 461 to the App Stores in the last week.
These latest launches are for an Innovative Interfaces Inc. and a direct SOLUS customer on Koha in North America. Additionally, in the same period reseller partners have confirmed two new Library App sales.
Neil Wishart, CEO of SOLUS states, "These numbers don't really give the full picture as we're now sitting at another 755 App Template customers (a unique App within an App for consortia members) and just over 7,850 individual locations globally. There are another 27 Library Apps in final testing pending release and 38 more Library App contracts signed awaiting customer data.
Andrew Daye, CTO of SOLUS states, "In the past month we've almost fully automated our build process in advance of the launch of our next generation Library App at the start of Q4. Along with highly anticipated (and some unanticipated) new functionality, this is great news as it means that the process from receipt of customer data, to testing and live in the App Stores can be reduced to just a few days. We can essentially fulfil an App and have it live, just as quickly as the customer can move through the process. This means that if there is an urgent need to move - e.g. implementing in-App Self-Check due to cost pressures of Self-Check hardware replacement, or a legacy app contract coming to an end, we can get you live rapidly!"
Neil states, "It's exciting times, the Library App is on an ever upwards trajectory, sales of eb#1 our Library Events (Calendar) and Room Bookings System (test partner launched October 2021) are really growing at pace and the functionality added in the last six months has been phenomenal. Additionally, we're launching our new responsive Web Discovery product on September 14th with The Libraries Consortium (TLC), a UK consortium of 22 councils, 350+ sites across Greater London and the South East of England. TLC are a development partner and SirsiDynix Symphony and Enterprise customer. The South Australia Public Library Network (SAPLN) are also a key development partner of the Web Discovery product.
