Economist Intelligence is partnering with LibLynx to power identity, access and analytics for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), a world leader in business intelligence.
EIU needed a flexible and comprehensive identity, access and analytics solution that could integrate into new and legacy publishing platforms. In particular, they want to drive user engagement by lowering access friction, improve the efficiency of account management workflows, and enable rich business intelligence to help them better understand user needs.
LibLynx's identity and access APIs deliver a unified solution that provides EIU users with low-friction best practice access experiences, leverages existing Single Sign-On technologies when available, and supports legacy authentication methods. An administrative portal provides staff with easy-to-use workflows that have been customized for internal needs, such as simplified selection of user entitlements.
LibLynx also provides the EIU with a centralized analytics solution that captures granular user engagement metrics across all platforms and devices, greatly simplifying implementation. LibLynx powers a wide assortment of reporting ranging from customer-facing COUNTER compliant usage reports to custom internal BI, as well as an easy upgrade path as and when new reports are needed.
Sharon Cooper, Chief Digital Officer at the EIU, said, "LibLynx provided us with a custom solution that paired their technical capabilities with the specialist expertise we needed to meet our aggressive timelines. They are a trusted and valued partner. "
"We're delighted to partner with the Economist Group on extending the capabilities of their digital publishing platforms" added Tim Lloyd, CEO of LibLynx. "Understanding user needs has never been more important, and identity and access is a key enabler for translating raw analytics into actionable business intelligence at scale."
LibLynx provides flexible Identity, Access Management, and Analytics solutions to online resource providers and libraries. We make identity & access as simple as possible and as secure as necessary and deliver insightful analytics that are on-demand and in real time. We mitigate the risks of fraud and managing personal data. Our cloud native applications are technology and platform independent, with an architecture designed to simplify integration and facilitate customization.
