Dublin, OH - May 18, 2022 - Patron Point announced today that it has added new functionality to its Patron Point Recommends reading recommendation service with the launch of a "Staff Picks" feature set.
Patron Point Recommends offers libraries the opportunity to generate automatically curated reading recommendation lists for patrons who opt-in to the service. The recommended titles are presented in beautifully designed templates and are all linked directly to the library catalog.
Every library receives a curated list of recommendations in 25 subject areas and being directly connected to the ILS, all of the titles recommended are in the libraries' holdings and so no time is wasted going through generic reading recommendation lists and removing titles that your library does not own.
With the latest development, libraries can now use the same templates, design categories unique to their library and communities, and select their own items from their holdings that they wish to promote.
