Columbia, MO - February 10, 2022 -- MOBIUS announced that the Sampson-Clinton Public Library System (SCPL) successfully migrated and went live as a member of the NC Cardinal consortium, which utilizes the Evergreen Integrated Library System (ILS), on December 9, 2021.
MOBIUS performed data migration services to the Evergreen ILS as part of its MOSS (MOBIUS Open Source Solutions) service. MOBIUS also provides data hosting and support to the NC Cardinal consortium.
Before joining NC Cardinal, SCPL offered approximately 113,000 items in its collection. After successfully moving to NC Cardinal, SCPL patrons now have access to over 7 million items through resource sharing. "We are very excited to offer our patrons access to millions more items through resource sharing. Joining NC Cardinal also provides additional convenience for our patrons as they can now use their SCPL card in the library branches of five out of our seven contiguous counties without the extra step of applying for another library card," said Director Kelsey Edwards.
