The Galecia Group is happy to announce the addition of Amanda Jacobs Foust to its growing team. Foust will serve as the Outreach and Accounts Manager for The Galecia Group's BookPoints and LibraryCall services, ensuring library clients continue to receive outstanding customer service as the company grows.
Foust brings many years of experience in both front-end and back-end roles in libraries. She has worked directly with children, teens, and families– leading storytimes, planning programs, and overseeing Summer Reading efforts. Principal Lori Ayre says, "Amanda knows the challenges of serving and connecting with all families in the community, and she is passionate about approaching her work with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion."
Behind the scenes, Foust has experience selecting electronic resources for libraries. Having been on the receiving side of customer service, she brings an awareness of the gaps in the library product ecosystem. "I'm looking forward to connecting libraries and staff to tools and programs that serve their communities in flexible and versatile ways," says Foust of her new role.
