About Rio Community Library

The Rio Community Library provides vital services such as computer workstations, internet access, and digital scanning to its community of nearly 1,100. It provides programs for all ages and supports local activities such as gardening, quilting and Lego building. Rio patrons now have direct access to the 950,000 unique titles and 3.4 million items in the SCLS LINKcat shared catalog. Patrons may search and request items remotely, and the items are delivered directly to their local library by the SCLS delivery service. Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds offset the costs of the data migration to LINKcat.
