Dublin, OH -- October 13, 2021. The company announced today that Lauren Douglass has joined the Patron Point organization in the newly created role of Data and Implementation Support Training Specialist.
Douglass, a veteran library systems administrator, brings more than 16 years' experience in library information systems management, most recently as the Head of Technology Services at East Lansing Public Library, where she served as Project Manager for all software and hardware implementations; provided technical support for both staff and patrons; created technology training and also served as webmaster and content creator for the library's website.
In her new role, Douglass will bring her skill at translating technical requirements to business solutions, focusing on data connections, both for new systems as well as offering support for existing ones. She'll also assist with new product installations as they are developed.
Douglass said, "I'm very excited to join the Patron Point team and help libraries get started with implementation."

Douglass earned her BS in Biological Sciences from the University of California and worked in various roles at the University of California's McHenry Library.
