New York, NY – July 20, 2021 . Magzter, Inc. announces its partnership with WT Cox Information Services to provide thousands of North American and International digital magazines and newspapers to US library patrons via the Magzter and Edzter platforms.
The Magzter library program allows Public library patrons to check out and read thousands of popular domestic and international magazines and newspapers in digital format, when libraries participate in this new program. Libraries are welcoming this solution as it enables the patrons to read the magazines and newspapers on any device.
The Edzter library program is designed for Academic institutions, Schools K-12 and School Districts, to access titles curated for the end user. Collections include College appropriate titles, Elementary, Intermediate and High School specific collections. With unlimited simultaneous users, students can read the magazines and newspapers on any device.
Library patrons can access titles via the Magzter or Edzter APP (Apple iOS, Android) or a web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, etc). Access to either platform provides unlimited simultaneous users and usage details collected by title and user, which assists in the ability to quantify digital collection purchases for the library.
"From the inception of digitally formatted magazines and newspapers, libraries have searched for the best way to provide digital titles to their patrons while also controlling costs and levels of access. Our goal is to share with the library community the simplicity and ease of a digital reading experience while offering an attractive collection and a cost-effective solution. WT Cox is proud to be partnering with Magzter to provide both of these platforms to our library customers", said Mike Perrine, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
"During these unprecedented times, it is very important for libraries to adapt to digital technologies and ensure that their patrons get access to the latest information, anytime and anywhere. At Magzter, we believe that this partnership with WT Cox is a significant step forward in digitally empowering libraries, while offering a space-saving and cost-effective solution. We believe that our new program will benefit millions of library patrons and students", said Vijay Radhakrishnan, President, Magzter Inc.
