This release adds new capabilities to Web Builder to make it even easier for libraries to use Aspen Discovery for their entire web presence. Libraries can now easily add information about their address, phone number, and hours of operation to an Aspen Discovery page this makes it easier for patrons to find this critical information. Libraries can also easily add resources they have created in Aspen Discovery to pages in Aspen to help guide patrons to resources that will be most useful to them.
We have also made it easier for patrons and staff to manage their lists. The view of all lists can now be sorted and paginated which is a huge help when patrons are managing hundreds of lists. When viewing all lists, users can also easily see when a list was created and last updated as well as information about if the list is public, private, and included within search results.
This release of Aspen Discovery also enhances the integration with the underlying ILS. Koha Symphony, and Polaris integrations have all had significant enhancements made to them including the ability for Aspen to load additional configuration information from Polaris and loading reading history automatically for Symphony patrons.
In addition to the changes above over 50 additional updates and enhancements were made to Aspen Discovery.
