Ingram Publisher Services signs five new publishers

11/21/2005 -- La Vergne, TN. Ingram Publisher Services Inc. (IPS), a subsidiary of Ingram Book Group Inc. that provides sales and distribution services to publishers, today announced distribution agreements with five new publisher clients.

The new Ingram publisher clients are:

    Kogan Page, located in London, is Europe's largest independent publisher of business titles and has had a significant international presence for more than 35 years. Kogan Page has over 1,500 titles in print and publishes around 130 new books a year. Kogan Page's titles are specific to business functions including: management, marketing, sales, training, logistics, finance, human resources, career and personal development.

    Michael Wiese Productions (MWP) is a leading publisher in the field of filmmaking, with authors who are industry professionals. For the past 25 years, MWP has supplied student and professional filmmakers and writers with America's best 'how-to' film and video books. MWP, with offices in California, the U.K., and Seattle, is known for creating highly-accessible books that guide filmmakers in all aspects of their craft including writing, directing, storyboarding, screenwriting, scriptwriting, camera, producing, financing, marketing, distributing, new media, and more.

    Severn House has operations in both the U.S. and the UK, publishing fiction in topics ranging from crime and mystery to romance and science fiction. Severn House was established in 1974 and began republishing out-of-print titles by popular library authors. Severn House now specializes in providing libraries worldwide with quality reinforced editions of brand new contemporary fiction, as well as rare or previously unpublished works.

    Imprint Academic is a publisher of scholarly works covering a number of subjects from Politics, Education, and Culture, to Philosophy, Psychology, Ethics, and Religious Studies. Imprint was established in the UK in 1980, as a publisher of scholarly journals. In recent years, Imprint began publishing books as well.

    Netcomics, a New Jersey-based manga publisher, is dedicated to bringing the most sought-after titles of top-notch graphic novel authors from Korea. NETCOMICS is affiliated with Korea's leading online comic book provider Ecomix, which offers more than 50,000 volumes to Korean audiences through several popular web sites including Yahoo! Korea. Beginning January 2006, NETCOMICS will be releasing 3-4 titles each month then 7-8 titles in late 2006.
