Delft University of Technology has adopted Talis Aspire in order to better support the student experience and drive efficiencies within the library. They will be making use of online reading list management along with Talis Aspire's Management Information (MI) Dashboards, in order to gain better insight into list coverage and usage analytics.
Talis Aspire will provide easier access for students to course materials through resource lists, providing a better student experience. Academic staff will benefit from ease and efficiency of provisioning course materials, and the library will gain streamlined workflows and efficiencies around acquisitions and content purchasing.
Talis works with over 100 universities to integrate a diverse range of Library Management systems and Learning Management Systems. At Delft University of Technology, Talis Aspire will be integrated with their Library Management System, OCLC: WorldShare and with their Learning Management System, Brightspace by Desire2Learn. Talis has a stong partnership with OCLC, and Talis Aspire is used by the vast majority of OCLC:Worldshare Library Management System university users in the UK.
The Talis team is working closely with the team at Delft University of Technology to get Talis Aspire in place over the coming weeks and to support the university as it rolls out the service to faculty and students.
