Columbia, MO -- February 26, 2021. MOBIUS announced that the Avery-Mitchell-Yancey (AMY) Regional Library successfully migrated and went live as a member of the NC Cardinal Consortium, which utilizes the Evergreen Integrated Library System (ILS), on February 18, 2021.
MOBIUS performed data migration services to the Evergreen ILS as part of its MOSS (MOBIUS Open Source Solutions) service. MOBIUS also provides data hosting and support to the NC Cardinal consortium.
Before joining NC Cardinal, the AMY Regional Library System offered approximately 160,000 items in its collection. After successfully moving to NC Cardinal, AMY Regional Library system patrons will have access to over 7 million items. "On behalf of our library employees, board members, and patrons, I'm elated about the opportunity for our library system to join NC Cardinal," said Amber Westall Briggs, Regional Director of the AMY System for the past six years. "The support we've received and continue to receive from Cardinal staff and neighboring library systems is unmatched, and I am so grateful Federal grant funds exist to support libraries who want to expand access in joining the Cardinal consortium."
