BiblioCommons welcomes new library partners during the Fourth Quarter of 2020

Toronto, Ontario, December 30, 2020 — BiblioCommons is pleased to announce that new libraries have come onboard as partners during the fourth quarter of 2020. The new partner libraries include Lakeland Library Cooperative, Hayward Public Library, OWLSnet Library Consortium, Margate City Public Library, Delaware County District Library, and Oakland Public Library.

The BiblioCommons team is thrilled at the opportunity to work with new consortia and public libraries of all sizes in urban, suburban, and rural areas across North America. The flexible product and service offerings work well across multiple ILSs (integrated library systems.) BiblioCommons is looking forward to working closely with the new partner libraries mentioned below to support their online needs and elevate their staff and patron experiences to new heights.

Lakeland Library Cooperative serves a population of approximately 700,000 community members, covering eight west Michigan counties. The consortium has subscribed to the BiblioCore catalog.

Hayward Public Library is located in California and serves a community of approximately 160,000 individuals. The library has subscribed to the BiblioCore catalog.

OWLSnet Library Consortium includes 29 libraries with 49 locations in Wisconsin, across the Outagamie Waupaca Library System and the Nicolet Federated Library System. They will be using the BiblioCore catalog to support a population size of approximately 400,000 individuals.

Margate City Public Library is located in New Jersey and has subscribed to the BiblioCore catalog to serve its population of approximately 6,000.

Delaware County District Library will be using BiblioCore to support a population of approximately 126,000 in Delaware, Ohio.

Oakland Public Library is subscribing to the complete integrated BiblioCommons suite which includes BiblioCore, BiblioWeb, BiblioEvents, and the all-new marketing email tool, BiblioEmail. Oakland Public Library serves a population of approximately 400,000 in the city of Oakland, California.

Many public libraries listed above have already started their implementations, while others will begin implementing early in the new year. All libraries will be live on the BiblioCommons platform in 2021.
