Toronto, Ontario, December 9, 2020 — BiblioCommons is proud to announce the launch of registration for BiblioCon ‘21, BiblioCommons' bi-ennial public library conference. This year's all virtual event will bring together public libraries and BiblioCommons team members for interactive sessions, networking events, and more.
In an effort to ensure that BiblioCon is available and accessible to public library staff, registration will be complimentary and anyone working at a public library is welcome to attend and connect at BiblioCon ‘21.
"BiblioCommons brings together an amazing community of public librarians and other experts from within public libraries. We are excited to work with the BiblioCommons team to bring BiblioCon to an even bigger audience," explained Stephanie Chase, conference Co-Chair and Founder of Constructive Disruption.
The two-day conference will feature 3 theme-based tracks. Marketing & Strategy and Public Service Online will provide concrete tools and ideas on how to amplify staff voices, deliver relevant online interactions, optimize new service models, and enhance readers' advisory. The third track, BiblioCommons Deep Dive, will give attendees the chance to plunge into the BiblioCommons suite of products and learn hands-on tips on how to transform a library's catalog, website, events, mobile apps, and marketing communications into an engaging online experience.
BiblioCommons customers also have the opportunity to attend Office Hours with BiblioCommons Product Managers on February 26, 2021.
"There's nothing more valuable than spending time with the amazing Bibliocommons staff, and the community of libraries that partners with them. Such a great way to learn and get reinvigorated around providing the best online services that our public craves," declared Michael Colford, Conference Co-Chair and Director of Library Services at Boston Public Library.
