Dublin, OH - December 11, 2020 - Patron Point announced today that Sioux City Public Library of Iowa has selected its patron relationship management system to support the Library's strategic marketing efforts.
Celebrating over 140 years of public library service, Sioux City Public Library (www.siouxcitylibrary.org/) was formed on May 21, 1877 when the Sioux City Council passed an ordinance establishing a public library in the City. A collection of approximately 550 books belonging to the then eight-year old Young Men's Literary Association became the foundation of Sioux City's first public library. Today, the Library Board of Trustees and staff serve the residents of its community with the mission of "creating opportunities for a lifetime of learning to empower and enrich our community." In addition to the more than 90,000 digital books and audiobooks, the Library maintains a collection of over 168,000 physical books and recordings across three locations and circulates nearly 300,000 items.
