Brisbane, Australia – The team at LIBERO is proud to announce that Burdekin Library has chosen LIBERO Cloud for its Library system.
LIBERO Cloud is LIBERO's hosted service, offering a vast array of customer service benefits and product functionality that far exceeds a standard on-premises configuration.
When asked what made them choose LIBERO Cloud in such a competitive market, Library Services Manager, Alexis Adams said it was "good functionality at a reasonable cost".
"I was asked to look at the operational costs of the Library service and one of the items on the list (apart from staff wages) was the LMS. To be able to improve the OPAC and easily offer public access to our historical photo collection we would have needed to invest in the current LMS (Symphony), and that would have increased our ongoing costs. Looking at other systems seemed an obvious move," Alexis continued.
LIBERO's extensive migration plan allowed Burdekin Library to relieve library staff of unnecessary duties and minimise interruptions to library services.
"From the time we signed the contract, LIBERO's support and training team guided us every step of the way," Alexis said.
"Whether it is data migration or training throughout implementation, your project manager will work closely with you to prepare your staff for when you go live," Selena Johns said, Customer Service Manager at LIBERO.
Burdekin Library went live with LIBERO Cloud on the 12th of June 2020.
Managing Director, Sam Patane and the LIBERO team are excited to welcome Burdekin Library into their LIBERO family.
