Manuscript Manager integrates UNSILO AI tools to reduce manuscript submission delays

Copenhagen and Aarhus, Denmark -- April 7, 2020. UNSILO, a brand of the global scientific communications company Cactus Communications, is pleased to announce the integration of its Technical Checks and Reviewer Finder APIs by Manuscript Manager, the Copenhagen-based software company that provides submission workflow tools for publishers and scholarly societies, managing over 230 academic journals.

The Technical Checks API, part of the UNSILO Evaluate suite, uses machine-learning tools to provide information in real time from scientific research manuscripts, such as identifying evidence of funding statements and potential conflicts of interest. The software assists human editors and authors by providing links and checks.

Andy Beare, CEO of Manuscript Manager, commented: "Manuscript Manager offers a modern and innovative approach to peer review and article production tracking. We are very excited to partner with UNSILO, which leads AI-integrated, deep-learning program development in the scholarly publishing community. Our partnership will allow us to provide higher-quality editorial services to our clients and, at the same time, provide dramatic savings in the time taken to appraise a new manuscript and find relevant reviewers. We look forward to working closely with UNSILO to further streamline the submission process for our customers."

Thomas Laursen, VP-Revenue, commented: "We are very pleased to be partnering with Manuscript Manager, who work with some of the most prestigious publishers and scholarly societies. Their rapid responsiveness and can-do attitude has made it a pleasure to be a provider of tools for this impressive software suite, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership to provide better solutions for the hard-pressed academic researcher submitting a manuscript for publication."
